Mod Fish

The Mod Fish is something that’s been floating around in my head for too long - it blends everything we love about the keel fish with a bit more performance shortboard thinking. It’s a keel that has the fish feel that makes them so special but it can be surfed harder off the tail and more vertical in tighter pockets.It’s also more capable as a groveller type of board when required thanks to the tow in the fins and a slightly longer and narrower overall design than the standard keel fish. More entry rocker and reduced volume up front and a narrow tail with a flyer positioned at the trailing edge of the fin brings in the area off the tail and allows for a tighter and more aggressive approach to turns.
